Acclaimed folk-pop artist Yoke Lore has just premiered his much-anticipated new single, "The Score," available today through his label, Yell House Records, distributed by Thirty Tigers. The track, already a fan favourite due to a viral social media campaign, comes paired with an official music video.

"Love as an orientation tool. Eyes like dials," Yoke Lore muses about the inspiration behind "The Score." He adds, "As if a compass or a clock or a level. There is a physical awareness to the soothe of balance. Like how the body uses sickness to communicate danger. The heart will put up walls. But paradise is built with persistence. And passion is a way of living. The game is knowing where you are. Orientation over location. Because ignorance isn't bliss, it's ignorance. And love keeps the score."

Yoke Lore, the musical project of Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, dancer, and visual artist Adrian Galvin, has consistently pushed the boundaries of folk-pop. With roots in a creatively charged and spiritually intense family in Katonah, NY, Galvin’s journey in music started with several bands, most notably as a founding member of Walk The Moon, where he co-wrote their chart-topping debut single, "Anna Sun."

Since launching Yoke Lore in 2016, Galvin has crafted a unique sound, deeply influenced by his love for the banjo, an instrument rich in American musical history. This journey led to the release of the Gold-certified single "Beige" in 2017, which garnered millions of streams and widespread critical acclaim. His career has since been marked by a series of successful singles, EPs, and collaborations, as well as extensive international touring with artists like Bastille and The Head and The Heart.

Yoke Lore's music is not just about sound; it's a full-bodied expression of his diverse artistic talents. From his dance background to visual art, Galvin fuses these elements into his work, culminating in his 2023 full-length debut album, Toward a Never Ending New Beginning. This album solidified his reputation for thoughtful, raw, and genre-defying music.

Yoke Lore will embark on "The Autumn Amble: An Introspective Spectacular" tour, starting October 25 at Roseville, CA's Goldfield Trading Post. The tour includes stops at iconic venues like Denver's Ogden Theatre, Minneapolis' First Avenue, and Portland's State Theatre, with support from Runnner. Yoke Lore will also join Briston Maroney at the "Paradise" festival in Nashville on November 15.
