Two Door Cinema Club Bring the Energy to Crystal Palace Park
Two Door Cinema Club closed out a scorching day at Crystal Palace Park with an energetic set packed with fan favourites, following support from James Marriott and The Vaccines.

The Vaccines were up next. Their set was solid, but it didn’t really stand out for me. The audience seemed to enjoy it, although I was mostly waiting for the headliners.
As soon as Two Door Cinema Club took to the stage, the atmosphere changed. The band looked like they were having a great time, and that energy spread through the crowd straight away. They played a set packed with their biggest songs, and there was barely a moment when people weren’t dancing or bouncing along. From start to finish, the audience stayed fully engaged, making it a brilliant end to a very hot day in Crystal Palace Park.
Crystal Palace Park was packed as Two Door Cinema Club headlined an evening of live music this past June 26, joined by openers James Marriott, The Vaccines, and several artists who performed earlier in the day before I arrived.
It was an incredibly hot day, so it was funny watching crowds gather in the tiny patches of shade behind the speaker towers while waiting for the next set. Staying cool quickly became part of the festival experience. James Marriott was the first act I saw, and it was easy to spot his dedicated fanbase. Plenty of people in the crowd were clearly long-time supporters from his YouTube days, but he proved he can command a live audience, too. His stage presence was confident, and he put on a genuinely entertaining performance that got the crowd involved.
