The French band TSS continue leaning into their mix of metalcore and emo with their new single “Die In Your Arms,” out now via Fearless Records. The track feels darker than some of their previous releases, but at the same time, it keeps the same vibe as their previous album, END OF TIME, released almost a year ago.

The song builds up from a heavy base where electronics and guitars take the lead. The vocals are clean and rough at the same time, a mix that makes the whole thing feel very inspired by late 2000s/early 2010s bands. Lyrically, it stays pretty direct, focusing on obsession, attachment and wanting to stay close to someone even when everything is falling apart around you.

The production is massive and very clean, and the breakdown towards the end of the song feels surprising, with a build-up that ends in screamo vocals. The end comes almost abruptly, but it reminds me of their previous singles "Something in the Way" or "Breaking Bones", where the build-up is slow and towards the very end.

The band have already shared their excitement on social media, and “Die In Your Arms” feels like the most natural step for them after their 2025 album. They have found their sound, and they keep proving that they're one of the most exciting bands of the current scene.
