When thrown finally took the stage, the crowd was more than ready. The first notes were enough to send the crowd into constant movement. Their songs are short, direct and incredibly punchy, making it almost impossible to stand still. Mosh pits opened almost immediately, crowd surfers kept appearing throughout the set, and there was never a moment when the audience seemed to lose interest.
One of the highlights of the night was "split." As soon as the song started, hundreds of hands went into the air before everyone threw themselves back into the action. Another standout performance was "guilt," which turned into one of the loudest songs of the evening.
Before playing "on the verge," the singer joked with the audience, saying that everyone should be loud because if they had spent two minutes listening to the band, they already knew this song.
The audio mix wasn't always the clearest, and at certain points, some lyrics got lost. It didn't take much away from the experience, though, because the crowd sang so loudly that they almost became part of the performance. The set was also pretty short, but there was barely any time between songs, which kept the energy high from start to finish.
By the end, thrown delivered exactly the kind of live show their music promises: fast, aggressive and full of energy. It might not have been the longest set, but the band have reached the point where they don't need one. With that much charisma and a crowd ready to give everything back, the band's momentum isn't slowing down anytime soon.
House of Protection

Mon Live Madrid was completely packed for thrown, with fans filling the venue well before the first band even stepped on stage.
House of Protection were in charge of opening the show, and they did exactly what an opening band should do. They came out with loads of energy and immediately encouraged the crowd to get involved. They kept reminding everyone that this was Spain and that they expected people to go wild, and the audience answered. The duo barely stood still during the whole set, constantly running from one side of the stage to the other and making sure every part of the room felt included.
One of the most memorable moments happened during only the second song, when the singer jumped straight into the audience and joined the mosh pit. Instead of staying above the crowd, he became part of it, making the whole room even more excited. It was the perfect way to break any distance between the band and the fans, and after that, the energy only kept growing. By the end of their set, House of Protection had already warmed up the crowd perfectly for what was coming next.
