The Welsh rockers The Royston Club debuted their album Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars last year, where they "rescued" tracks from their previous EPs along with some well-received new tracks.
Representing the best of the British indie pop and indie rock scenes, the band is made up of Tom Faithfull (rhythm guitar, vocals), Ben Matthias (guitar, backing vocals), Dave Tute (bass, backing vocals) and Sam Jones (drums).
Their new single, "The Patch Where Nothing Grows" will be out on the 8th of August via Run On Records, and it's clear they're on the right path. Their debut album felt more like a new release from an established band, and we can't wait to see whether this new single solidifies them as one of the most promising bands of the moment.
