The Italian metalcore band Stain The Canvas return swinging (and screaming) with “Inevitable,” their latest single out now via InVogue Records, and it is pure catharsis. Heavy riffs? Check. Emotional vocals? Check. Lyrics that basically crawl inside your soul and scream, “Don’t give up”? Check, check, check.
“This is a song for everyone who’s been chasing their dreams for years and continue doing so, but sometimes feel like they’re going nowhere,” the band shares. “To those who struggle every single day, who sometimes feel like they’re falling apart but still find the strength to stand tall and keep pushing forward.”
“Inevitable” is the sound of refusing to quit. It’s that deep-breath-before-you-keep-going moment. It's for anyone who’s been cracked open by life and decided to turn the pieces into something louder, braver, and real. The song also reflects on the band’s journey, weaving in lyrical callbacks to their 2019 debut single “Like A God.” Even the artwork pays tribute to their roots, featuring the same floor seen in the original music video, a subtle nod to where it all began.
As vocalist Lorenzo explains: “In ‘Like A God’ we said, ‘it’s my turn to roll the dice, and play this game like a God,’ because it was our debut single and we were so confident and ready to put ourselves out there in the industry. Some years have passed, a lot of good things happened for our career, but we're still not where we want to be. With ‘Inevitable’ we wanted to remind ourselves that we’re still playing, that we’re always gonna improve, and that we can and will, eventually succeed.”
