Rivals are officially entering a brand-new era. The hard rock duo have announced they've signed to Epitaph Records, celebrating the news with the release of blistering new single 'Bite The Bullet'. Packed with massive choruses, crushing breakdowns and powerhouse production from Nevertel vocalist Raul Lopez, it's an explosive first look at what's next for the band.
Sharing her excitement, vocalist Kalie Wolfe said, "Not only am I ecstatic to announce our signing with Epitaph, but I'm so excited to start a new chapter of RIVALS. Josh and I have been working endlessly over the last year to build an entire world for you. I truly couldn't be more excited to have found that home with Epitaph."
The track arrives alongside a cinematic new video directed by Parke Fox, introducing the world and story that Rivals have been building behind the scenes. Set around a looming coastal fortress, the visual marks the beginning of a much bigger narrative. Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Wolfe explained: "'Bite The Bullet' is the beginning of the war. The beginning of the fight to survive, not only personally but as people. Let's be real; the world feels like it's crumbling around us. There comes a point where protecting innocent people stops being a political issue and becomes a moral one."
Rivals are heading out across the US this autumn in support of Nevertel, kicking off on September 19 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It looks like this new chapter is getting started at full volume.
