Tulsa-based indie-pop duo The Ivy is back with their latest single, "Every Little Ladder," out now. Known for their unique fusion of dreamy synth-pop, lo-fi textures, rock riffs, and R&B-inspired grooves, the duo—composed of singer/guitarist Wyatt Clem and synth player/bassist Shawn Abhari—continues to carve out a distinctive space in the music world.
Written in Los Angeles alongside renowned songwriter Sam Beresford (known for his work with Winnetka Bowling League, Losboycrow, and Gatlin), "Every Little Ladder" is an anthem of ambition and hope. The song's infectious energy perfectly captures the feeling of striving for something bigger than your surroundings.
"'Every Little Ladder' is about chasing a bigger life while reflecting on the experience of growing up in a small town, where everyone’s life seems to follow the same, unchanging path," say Wyatt and Shawn.
The Ivy’s journey began in 2017 with viral hits like “Gold” and “Have You Ever Been In Love". Over the years, the duo has released multiple EPs and their debut album, A Door Still Open (2024), earning a reputation for their innovative sound and electrifying live performances.
Fans can now catch The Ivy on all streaming platforms with their new single, a powerful reminder that dreams are worth reaching for, no matter where you come from.
