Stain The Canvas have just dropped their new single, “Seal My Soul”, and it’s raw, powerful, and hits straight to the heart.

From the very first notes, this track feels like an electric jolt, the kind that grabs you by the collar and pulls you into its storm of emotion. It’s heavy but melodic, aggressive yet heartbreakingly beautiful—like the perfect mix of chaos and clarity. The vocals are insane, switching between raw screams and haunting cleans, and the instrumentals build this dark, gripping atmosphere that feels like being pulled into someone’s pain. You can feel every riff, every hit of the drums, like the band poured their entire souls into this.

What makes “Seal My Soul” even more special is the story behind it. Guitarist and songwriter Lorenzo Accattoli explained that this track is both a tribute and a cathartic release, written after the tragic loss of a close friend to suicide. He said: “I spent weeks wondering how he must have felt, what he was going through, and why he never asked for help… I tried to put myself in his shoes through empathy, to pay him a tribute and dedicate it to anybody who’s fighting these kinds of battles silently.”

Those words hit hard. It’s such a haunting and beautiful way to approach songwriting.“Seal My Soul” feels like both a cry for help and a comforting reminder that none of us are truly alone.

The music video amplifies the song’s emotional impact, with visuals that are both dark and cinematic in a way that perfectly reflects the themes of struggle and resilience. It paints a vivid picture of isolation—the kind that feels like shouting into the void with no one to answer, or even desperately searching for someone who might. It’s haunting, but also beautiful, in how honest it is.

This is undoubtedly one of Stain The Canvas's best releases so far. We can say they really sealed our soul with this one.
