Haiden Henderson’s tension is basically the soundtrack for when you’re caught in that annoying, frustrating place between wanting someone and knowing it’s probably a bad idea. It’s not your typical heartbreak album, but more like the messy moments before things fall apart.
The whole EP has this vibe that’s kinda like a late-night party you didn’t really plan on. His voice is smooth but raw, and the beats are catchy, perfect for blasting when you wanna get lost in your feelings or just dance it out.
Songs like “sweat” and “one track mind” are straight-up club bangers with a sexy, sweaty energy that makes you wanna move. But then there’s stuff like “tension” and “best friend” where Haiden gets real about that confusing feeling when you want someone who doesn’t really want you back. It’s lowkey heartbreaking but also kinda empowering.
Then we’ve got “good TV,” which feels relatable and a bit bittersweet. And “sweet tooth” adds this cool break to the mix, with a catchy groove that kinda balances out the darker vibes elsewhere on the EP.
It's nice to see how honest he is with the lyricism, especially on “AA”. It’s got this cool garage beat, but the lyrics are all about being obsessed in a way that’s thrilling but also a little scary. You can tell he’s been there, and it’s refreshing how he doesn’t sugarcoat it.
