Australian post-punk outfit Radio Free Alice are back with the new single "Lunch Money", marking their first release through Atlantic Records and Warner Music Australia.

Built around jangly guitars and Noah Learmonth's unmistakable vocal delivery, "Lunch Money" the track lands alongside a new video directed by Pema Baldwin, following the group around New York City as they take in everything from packed gift shops to quieter moments away from the crowds.

According to Learmonth, the song came together while the band were on tour in the UK last year.

"Lunch Money came together last year in a soundcheck in Nottingham while on tour in the UK," he explains. "It was the back-end of the tour and it had started getting really cold. I remember us writing it on the stage at the empty venue, all with jackets, scarves and gloves on. It was one of those songs that came together pretty instantly."

The release continues a busy run for Radio Free Alice following last year's Empty Words EP and breakout single "Rule 31", which helped introduce the Melbourne band to audiences far beyond Australia. Since then, they've sold out shows in London, completed their first North American tour, appeared at Shaky Knees Festival, and supported fellow Australian favourites Geese on tour.
