Austin post-hardcore outfit Porcelain have announced their sophomore album, Today’s Minor Victories, arriving October 23, 2026, via TODO Records. Alongside the announcement comes the release of "Apocalypse," a new single accompanied by an official music video directed by Pooneh Ghana and filmed on a Texas ranch.
Built around metallic riffs and driving instrumentals, "Apocalypse" explores the disillusionment that comes with growing up in an increasingly uncertain world while still searching for hope amid its hardships. Speaking on the track, the band explains, "This is a song about the loss of innocence. Growing up, the future looked so bright and promising, like we could all make something of this world for the better. But then we witness tragedy after tragedy unfold in front of our childlike eyes, and the world that we looked forward to growing up in now looks like it's unattainable, collapsing in slow motion."
They continue, "The future we were promised as children never came to be, and now we're all but subjected to the systemic violence that our country was founded on."
Recorded live with minimal layering at Estuary Studios in Austin, Today's Minor Victories runs for 47 minutes and was engineered and mixed by Scott Evans before being mastered by Greg Obis at Chicago Mastering Service. The album centers on themes of grief, loss, and perseverance, with its title serving as a reminder that sometimes it's the small victories that carry us through another day.
