On Friday the 19th of April 2024 Nieve’s fans spent the majority of their time in a line outside the German club “Yuca” where Nieve was scheduled to perform later that night. The people in the line were mostly wearing clothes with bows, stars or lace details, matching the singers’ unique aesthetic and style. Despite it raining and hailing most of the time, the queue remained upbeat, singing along to the singer’s music on a fans’ speaker. Shortly before everyone was being let into the venue, Mollie Mckay (Nieves photographer and videographer) let selected fans listen to one of Nieve’s unreleased upcoming songs.

At 18:40 French singer Flora Rose took the stage, performed a few songs and started to get the crowd excited for what was about to come. Twenty minutes after the support act exited the stage, Nieve and her band, consisting of Finn Marlow on the guitar, Fran Larkin on the bass and Matt Garnett on the drums, came up on stage to a modified version of “Lifetime of Wanting” as the show’s entrance.

Half a year ago she was the support act for Irish rock band Inhaler, and six months later she played her first sold-out headline show in Cologne, barely one kilometre from where most people initially fell in love with her and her music.
