Mouth Culture, the rising trio from Leicester, have released today Friday October 4 their new EP Whatever The Weather via InVogue Records. Featuring the confrontational single “No Shame,” this five-track release showcases their signature blend of alt-rock, grunge, and indie pop-rock. With punchy lyrics and fresh sonic experimentation, Whatever The Weather represents both a musical evolution and a reflection on overcoming life’s challenges.

The EP continues the trio's exploration of self-reflection and growth, following up their 2023 release Mishaps Of My Mid Twenties.

According to bassist Todd Groome, the titles of both EPs capture their personal evolution. “Mishaps... was about life’s inevitable setbacks, while Whatever The Weather is about pushing through them and finding positivity.”

The EP’s standout track “No Shame” brings the band’s sonic variety into full view. A confrontational, riff-heavy single with crisp percussion and record scratches, the track is inspired by bands like Refused and is “a vent about that one friend who says way too much after a few drinks,” says the band. The accompanying music video, now live, perfectly complements the single’s bold energy.

Mouth Culture will be hitting the road soon, supporting Kids In Glass Houses on their UK tour and later joining You Me At Six across Europe and the UK. Additionally, the band is set to perform at Slam Dunk Festival 2025.
