German punk rock wrecking crew MELONBALL are back, and they didn’t come to play nice. Their brand-new single, “Garbage Day,” is out now via Thousand Islands Records (CAN) and Rookie Records (GER), and it’s a no-holds-barred sonic purge aimed squarely at hate-fueled ideologies.

“Garbage Day” launches MELONBALL’s next chapter with a fist in the air and a foot on the gas. Fast technical riffs collide with rapid-fire drums and rally-cry vocals that make one thing very clear: racism and bigotry are getting kicked to the curb.

“This song is about taking out the trash – confronting lies, hate, and the social decay they cause,” says vocalist Oli Barth-Jurca. “We’re not backing down, and this is just a taste of what’s coming next.”

The single lands just in time for their upcoming set at Punk Rock Holiday 2025, where MELONBALL will unleash their trademark cocktail of melody, speed, and unfiltered political fury on one of Europe’s biggest punk stages.

Crank it up, and help MELONBALL take out the trash:
