It's not difficult to find resources for women in music in 2024. We have platforms like Amplify Her Voice or Women That Rock, but there's a big segment that is often overlooked: women who come from Southern Europe

With a desire to bring attention to the underrepresented voices of Mediterranean women, founder Arianna Bartolozzi Bellantuono, a professional in the industry with a background in Music Business and Management, launched MGIM in February 2024, inspired by her own experiences and observations within the industry.

Arianna enlisted the help of Dunya Fadili, a philosophy student with a passion for writing and music. Together, they set out to create a platform that would not only provide insightful interviews and articles in English, Italian and Spanish but also serve as a beacon of empowerment for women in the Mediterranean who strive to make a voice for themselves.

These interviews offer a glimpse into the lives and careers of talented individuals, providing inspiration and guidance to aspiring professionals. Additionally, MGIM collaborates with artists and their teams, featuring their songs, albums, and releases in articles published on the same day as their release.

Beyond interviews and articles, MGIM utilizes its social media platforms to engage with its audience and promote a diverse range of content. From highlighting emerging singers to sharing stories of industry veterans, MGIM's social media presence is dynamic and ever-evolving. The platform also offers valuable insights and resources for those looking to enter the music industry.

As MGIM continues to grow and evolve, its mission remains steadfast: to empower, inspire, and uplift women in the music industry while celebrating the rich musical heritage of the Mediterranean. With new writers joining the team, the future of MGIM looks brighter than ever, promising even more engaging content and opportunities for collaboration.
