Keyside's new single "Echoes" is easily one of the most emotional songs they've released so far. Coming just before their self-titled debut album, it leaves a really strong final impression and shows why so many people have been talking about the band this year.

The song was inspired by frontman Dani-Lee Parker losing his uncle to drug addiction, and you can hear how personal it is. The guitars sound bright but calm, while the vocals stay front and center, letting the lyrics do most of the work. Everything feels natural and nothing sounds overdone.

Parker explained, "'Echoes' is inspired by the real experience of losing my uncle. It's a reflection of the frustration of having to watch someone deteriorate and have their life taken. Moments like this cause me to reflect on my own life and of others around me, thoughts which unfold in the song."

"Echoes" closes Keyside's debut album, and the band have already released songs like "Nikita," "Michael (What's Your Call?)," "Runaway," "Lemon and Lime," and "Cocodamol," and each one has shown a different side of what they can do.

Alongside the single, Keyside also announced their biggest headline tour yet, with dates across the UK including Manchester Academy, London's Oslo, and a huge hometown show at Liverpool's Mountford Hall in December.
