Jazmin Bean’s expression cannot simply be tied to one genre or even one form of creative expression, whether it’s evocative storytelling, engaging live performances, or through their makeup artistry. Fresh off their world tour, they revealed a makeup palette with their brand and an extended version of their Traumatic Livelihood album featuring five additional tracks.

The album explores the duality of trauma and the healing process, seamlessly blending soft pop and sugar-sweet melodies with gut-wrenching confessions of addiction, exploitation, and resilience. The contrast between Jazmin’s angelic vocal delivery and the darker lyrical themes creates an emotional journey.

The extended version has five additional songs, including two new ones - “A House Is Not A Home- Strawberry House Sessions” and “It’s not my fault (it’s yours)”.

“A House Is Not A Home” stands out for its stripped-down arrangement. The subtle plucking of strings mirrors the fragility and hope in the song’s lyrics. As part of the Strawberry House Sessions, the song highlights Jazmin’s ability to connect with listeners through vulnerability and simplicity, contrasting the album’s more intense, production-heavy tracks.

The Strawberry House Sessions are a thoughtful expansion of the album, creating additional depth for diving into the world Jazmin has created.
