Grack Mack & The Pack are back with their second EP, shells, a five-track release shaped by the experiences of early adulthood, built around a soft-rock sound with folk influences.

Inspired by growing up near the sea, the project reflects on how surroundings can shape the way people think, feel, how they relate to others. At the centre of the EP is the idea that people are shaped through pressure, and the title "shells" represents both individuality and imperfection.

The lead single, “a shell (of what i might’ve been)”, explores the process of reconnecting with yourself after allowing another person to influence your identity and choices, whileEcho” captures the instability of a new relationship with a sense of tension that runs through both the lyrics and instrumentation.

The next track, “pistachios”, focuses on exhaustion and the need for rest, encouraging moments of pause and self-care. “blue” and “pile of clothes” both examine tension within relationships, looking closely at communication, emotional confusion, looking at the challenge of understanding both yourself and the people around you.

With shells, Grack Mack & The Pack present a direct and personal collection of songs that document the emotional realities of life in your early 20s.
