Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Euan Blackman has released his new single, Sneak Attack, today September 27th via Ripe Records. This track, the fourth single from his forthcoming Thunderstorms EP, continues Blackman's unique blend of nostalgic melodies and introspective songwriting that has garnered attention from the likes of BBC Introducing, Apple Music, and John Kennedy of Radio X.

Described as introspective and timeless, Blackman’s music feels like a road trip through memories, capturing shared human experiences with a distinct wistfulness. Sneak Attack embraces a bold, more anthemic sound compared to his previous releases, blending acoustic guitars with electronic elements influenced by artists like Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty.

With a production style that draws influence from the 80s, the track balances nostalgia with modern elements, and the lush beat captures you until the end of the track. Vocally, Blackman delivers with warmth and sensitivity, which contrasts with the energetic instrumentation. His lyrics feel personal yet universal, as he reflects on love and heartbreak. The production, handled by Tarek Musa, adds a layer of polish with its textured mix of acoustic and electronic elements, making Sneak Attack intimate and delightful.

Blackman describes the track as “sonically living in a similar world as some of my favorite records from the 80s... yet still has the sensitivity of my more introspective songs.”

With over 700k views on TikTok for his promo videos and strong support from industry tastemakers such as Jack Saunders (Radio 1) and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), Euan Blackman is quickly becoming a standout artist. Sneak Attack is the next step in his rising career as he heads toward the release of his debut EP in Summer 2024.
