Orlando-based metalcore band Dark Divine is back with their most personal and introspective release yet, "Make Me Disappear," out now via Thriller Records.

Stepping away from the campy horror-core aesthetic that defined earlier releases like Deadly Fun, “Make Me Disappear” trades blood-splatter for emotional bruising. It’s a song about what comes after — the sense of emptiness that can follow success, and how real meaning often lies in the process, not the finish line.

“‘Make Me Disappear’ is a song about purpose. The process of finding and pursuing purpose is the very thing that gives it value," they share. "However, we can feel lost when we feel that our goals have been achieved. Where do you go from there? The journey is often more important than the destination and purpose is cultivated by the sense of doing, not necessarily by the completion of one’s goals.”

Vocally, frontman Anthony Martinez moves effortlessly between anguish-soaked screams and clean, melodic hooks, giving the song a push-and-pull dynamic that mirrors the emotional struggle at its core. The production is tight and atmospheric, leaning into modern metalcore’s cinematic tendencies without losing its bite.
