Liverpool indie favourites Keyside are finally ready to release their debut album. The self-titled record arrives on August 7, 2026, via Modern Sky, and the band have marked the announcement with a new single, Cocodamol.

The track leans into the messy realities of modern relationships and nightlife. It is one of those songs that feels both personal and recognisable from the first listen. Cleverly written, quietly messy, impossible to ignore once it’s in your head.

Frontman Dani-Lee Parker explained: “Cocodamol explores loose love in party culture. Friends-with-benefits, emotional placeholders, intimacy without permanence. It’s about waking up beside someone and being their painkiller: easing the physical hangover while ignoring the emotional one.

Alongside the album announcement, Keyside have also revealed their biggest hometown headline show to date. The band will play Liverpool’s Mountford Hall on December 12, 2026, a major milestone for a group that has steadily built one of the most loyal followings in the UK indie scene.

Fans will already recognise tracks such as Lemon And Lime, Runaway, Rock My Love and Angeline on the album, while several unreleased songs remain under wraps. With a debut record finally on the horizon and a huge homecoming show booked in, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Keyside.
