Hard rock band Catch Your Breath are back with a punch, releasing their latest single "[Gen]inside" featuring Kami Kehoe, and it might just be their most emotionally charged track yet.

"[Gen]inside" dives straight into the frustration of being blamed for someone else’s mistakes — that moment when you finally stop carrying the weight that was never yours to begin with. With heavier edges, sharp lyrics, and a rising intensity that builds throughout the track, the song captures the shift from quiet endurance to drawing a firm line.

Vocalist Josh Mowery described the track as a message for anyone who’s ever felt unfairly blamed or silenced. According to Mowery, "[Gen]inside" is about standing in the aftermath of damage you didn’t cause and realising something powerful: you’re not the problem. It’s a theme that resonates deeply, especially as the song moves from restraint to confrontation, mirroring the emotional release at its core.
